1.Nf3 - Practical Reti Repertoire for White

The masterclass - 1.Nf3 - Practical Repertoire for White is already a digital product.

GM Papaioannou continues his Reti journey. In his previous camp 1.Nf3 d5 2.g3 - Play the Reti, Papaioannou provided a complete solution for White against 1...d5.

The focus of this camp are all Black's options against 1.Nf3, except 1...d5.

This product includes all the videos from the workshop and the PGN file related to the training sessions. Overall, the material consists of approximately 7.5 hours of video and a PGN database which includes 80 files!

If you are looking for a positional opening where the typical ideas and plans are more important than the concrete theory, Reti is your choice!

    1.Nf3-5fbfdf11d2

While the main focus will be on 1...Nf6 and 1...c5, GM Papaioannou will cover some important rare lines such as 1...f5. Against both 1...Nf6 and 1...c5, Papaioannou suggests 2.c4.

During the camp, you will see many different positions and pawn structures. In this way, you will definitely boost your general chess understanding.

You get 7.5 hours of high-level training which will provide you with the following benefits:

✅ Better understanding of the Symmetrical English structures

✅ Complete Solution against King's Indian setups

✅ Better feeling of the connection between the opening and the middlegame

    ✅ Better general chess understanding

    ✅ High-class repertoire after 1.Nf3

Below, we shall briefly take a look at the different lectures.

    1.Nf3 Nf6 2.c4 c5 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 - Systems with e7-e6

The workshop starts with Symmetrical English and the systems where Black plays the setup with e7-e6.
    Chapter-1-131a35c416

This is a very popular way of handling the position for Black. Papaioannou explains in detail the most important Hedgehog Structure and all other plans and setups for both sides.

    1.Nf3 Nf6 2.c4 c5 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 - Systems with g7-g6

In the second lecture, the author explains the very popular Maroczy Structure. The lecture also includes repertoire for White against the dangerous gambit 4...e5.
He always shows lines with less memorization and more understanding of the typical plans and ideas.

    Chapter-2-15cccda201

    1.Nf3 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.b3 - Setups with ...d7-d6 and ...c7-c5

    Chapter-3-9541ca90e0

2...g6 is a move played by King's Indian and Grunfeld players. With the Reti, we avoid those openings and drag our opponents into our territory. These positions are more based on ideas, and there is little theory. We will study different set-ups from Black, such as d6-c5, b6-c5

    1.Nf3 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.b3 - Setups with ...d7-d6 and ...e7-e5

    Introduction-to-d6-c5-Set-ups-Introduction-to-d6-e5-Set-ups-5.g3-2db0ad70f6

This lecture will show how to fight the setups with d6-e5 and d6-e5-c5.

    Dealing with the Rare Setups

In the last lecture, GM Papaioannou deals with rare setups. The most important ones are 1...f5 and Romanishin Variation (1...Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.g3 a6)

    Short-Introduction-Rare-Setups-3...a6-e47d7ec7fa

Those systems are rare but not without venom. Nevertheless, armed with the knowledge from the lecture, you should be able to face them confidently.
