Must-Know Attacking Techniques – Strategy Wednesday with GM Ioannis Papaioannou

GM Ioannis Papaioannou continues his acclaimed Strategy Wednesday series this May with an exciting and essential topic—attack. The new edition, Must-Know Attacking Ideas, will focus on helping players sharpen their attacking instincts and learn how to build and execute powerful attacks in practical games.

With his trademark structured and clear teaching style, GM Papaioannou will guide students through the key principles, patterns, and strategies that every ambitious player must master to become a dangerous attacker at the board.

As in previous months, the lectures will take place over two Wednesdays – 14.05 and 28.05, with two sessions on each day. After each session, participants will receive 10 test positions to solve independently, designed to reinforce the attacking concepts presented during the lectures. The final PGN file will include all test positions along with detailed solutions.

Strategy Wednesday is part of the Modern Chess Academy, which means all academy members receive free access to the live lectures and the complete digital product to be released afterward.
