Slav Defence - Top-Level Repertoire for Black - Part 1
GM Alexey Dreev & GM Pier Luigi Basso
Welcome to our course on the Slav Defence for Black. We are thrilled to present the first part of this two-part series, produced in collaboration between GM Pier Luigi Basso and the esteemed GM Alexey Dreev.
GM Alexey Dreev, a prominent figure in the chess world, has been among the top 10 players globally for many years. His expertise in the Slav Defence is unparalleled, as it has always been his preferred opening against 1.d4. GM Pier Luigi Basso had the privilege of being his student during 2015/2016, a period during which he adopted the Slav Defence as his main repertoire line, greatly benefiting from Dreev's profound knowledge and insights.
In this course, authors will share the extensive work and experience accumulated over their careers. The goal of this work is to provide you with a deep understanding of the Slav Defence, covering not just the theoretical aspects but also the underlying principles and strategic nuances of each position.
The course consists of 16 theoretical chapters, Video exercises, 10 interactive tests, a Memory Booster, and a Video Version (6h and 19min).
