Tactics Helping Strategy - Learn from Fischer

We are delighted to present Tactics Helping Strategy - Learn from Fischer, the latest course by Grandmaster Mykhaylo Oleksiyenko. Building on the success of his acclaimed series, this new course offers a deep dive into the chess legacy of Bobby Fischer, one of the greatest chess legends.
In this course, GM Oleksiyenko expertly demonstrates the inseparable connection between tactical skill and strategic understanding, a theme central to Fischer's play. Complementing his previous course on Spassky and Petrosian, this addition is designed to broaden your knowledge of chess classics, enhancing both your tactical acumen and strategic depth.
The core idea of this course revolves around the principle that effective calculation, while crucial, reaches its full potential when backed by accurate strategic evaluation. By immersing yourself in Fischer's brilliant games and strategies, you'll gain invaluable insights into how strategic planning underpins and enhances tactical prowess. This integration of strategy and tactics is vital for mastering high-level chess, and GM Oleksiyenko's guidance is key in helping you assimilate these essential skills.
The course is structured to encourage active learning. It features 50 interactive training positions, each accompanied by detailed annotations and video explanations. To maximize the benefits of this course, we recommend dedicating about 15 minutes to each position, simulating a real-game scenario. Document your analysis and conclusions before comparing them with GM Oleksiyenko's insights in the video answers and annotated PGN files. This approach not only reinforces your understanding but also fine-tunes your analytical skills.
