Top-Level Repertoire against French and Caro-Kann
IM Kushager Krishnater continues his 1.e4 repertoire. We are happy to introduce his course Top-Level Repertoire against French and Caro-Kann.
True to his analytical approach, IM Krishnater suggests theoretically challenging, but less explored systems. That's why his suggestions have huge practical value in an over-the-board game.
His suggestions against the Caro-Kann Defence are based on the line 1.e4 c6 2.Nf3 d5 3.d3
Here is how the author justifies his choice, "This is a very interesting system. We are content with the idea of the possible queen trade arising after 3...dxe4 4.dxe4 Qxd1 5.Kxd1. At first sight, it seems like the sequence has gone horribly wrong for White. The king cannot castle anymore, while the queens have been chopped off. However, if we go deeper, we'll understand that it's far from the case. The king will escape to f1 or to c2, while White keeps extra space."
Against the French Defence, Kushager suggests the so-called Advance Variation - 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.e5
The Advance Variation is one of White's most challenging options against the French Defence. White immediately grabs space in the centre and is ready to make use of all the drawbacks that are so typical for the French Defence. As always, the suggested repertoire includes a number of interesting rare ideas. Besides providing you with a strong repertoire for White, the analysis of IM Krishnater will help you better understand closed positions with a space advantage.
The course consists of 15 theoretical chapters, 15 interactive test positions. a Memory Booster, and a Video Version (3h and 6min Running Time).
